Requirements

Level: Suzuki book 4+ levels, or ABRSM Grade 5 and above.
Reading: completed I Can Read Music: Vol 1 (ICRM) and started/completed ICRM 2, or equivalent.
Auditions: By appointment

Time

Saturday afternoons (55 minutes)

Established in Aug 2022, the Performance Group (PG) aims to encourage a high level of performance and will have multiple performance opportunities throughout the school year. We will introduce multi-voice ensemble pieces, pieces outside of the Suzuki literature, and help students understand how to better perform in a string ensemble. As this program requires a higher level of playing, commitment to practicing and attendance is non-negotiable.

This PG is open to all string players, including non-Suzuki participants!
